Our sun-ripened strawberries are juicy, bursting with flavour, and ready to be picked straight from the field – no plastic packaging, no long supply chains, just honest, fresh fruit you and your little ones can harvest together.

What to Bring & Know Before You Go
When does strawberry picking season start?
Our strawberry picking season typically runs from mid-June to late July, depending on the weather and crop conditions. Keep an eye on our social media pages for live updates on field availability and opening dates.
What are the opening times for strawberry picking?
We’re open daily from 10am to 5pm during strawberry season. No need to book – just turn up, grab a bucket, and get picking!
Where is the farm located?
We’re conveniently located opposite Bents Garden Centre on the A574 in Glazebury, close to Culcheth and Warrington. You’ll see clear signage for Farmer Bertie’s Farm from the main road, and we have free on-site parking available.
Is strawberry picking dog-friendly?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads. We love seeing four-legged friends enjoy the fresh air too, but please remember to clean up after them and keep them clear of the picking beds.
Do you provide containers?
Yes – we provide picking containers at the entrance, but feel free to bring your own baskets or tubs if you prefer. All picked fruit will be weighed at the end.
Is the field accessible for prams or wheelchairs?
The fields are natural grass and soil, so while flat in areas, it may be uneven or muddy after rain. We recommend suitable footwear and advise caution with prams or wheelchairs.
